Subject to approval from the Queensland College of Teachers, USQ intends to have a Semester 1 intake in 2015 for the Secondary specialisation only. The Primary and Middle Years (Queensland equivalent of Junior Secondary) specialisations will not be offered in 2015. A primary specialisation will be available in the new 16–unit Master of Learning and Teaching program from Semester 2, 2015.

Notes

There will be no semester 2 intake in 2014 for the Primary or Middle Years specialisations.
Compulsory Induction: A compulsory induction must be undertaken prior to your first semester of study. This will occur in February for semester 1 commencement or June for semester 2 commencement. The induction is offered in online mode for both semesters.

The Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching is accredited with the Queensland College of Teachers.

All students, domestic and international, must complete the majority of supervised professional experience in Australian Primary and/or Secondary school settings.
